Hyundai Motors India Ltd in India has launched its new automatic transmission version of the mid size sedan Verna in India about few days back while the manual transmission was launched in 2006. Though it has given enough competition in its segment like Ford Feista, Ikon, Chevi Aveo and Honda City there are a few Cons about the car. The new car includes features like Aerodynamic Looks, full wheel cover, ABS and advanced music system.
Lets look at the overall performance of the car. The Car is a huge hit for its performance of the horses developed by it. The quality of the interiors are excellent which comes in a combination of two colors of plastic. The design is clearly a European as the size of the bonnet is small comparatively. There are enough illuminations glove boxes on the doors to operate easily by the driver as well for the passengers on all the doors as well as the cockpit. The handles and the mirrors are also in body color.
Coming to the power of the car, it drives like a Boeing taking off which might drive crazy for the passengers in the car. The diesel version comes in with a 1.5ltr engine 16-valve diesel with a CRDi burner developing 110bhp while 1.6ltr featuring VTVT – Variable Timing Valve Train technology in the petrol version developing 102bhp which drives from 0-100 in just 12 seconds which would be the best part for the car to compete with its segment cars while the automatic comes in with a four speed gear box. The part which disappoints is the legroom for all the passengers which is quite less and dis comfortable. It is available in five variants based on its versions and features and six body colors.
