North America is the third largest continent in the world and it consists of 23 countries and 18 dependencies. This continent covers about 4.8% of the earth’s total surface area. North America is the fourth most populous continent of the world with about 8% of the total human population. Canada is the largest country of this continent but is not the most populous one. It is instead the United States of America which is also the third most populous country in the entire world. The largest city of North America is Mexico City which is the Capital of Mexico.
