Avoid Nail Biting and Keep Them Healthy

Nail biting is a very common habit seen in children as well as in adults. Though not a serious habit but indecent one particularly when they are in the society. By gnawing the nails loose their shape and beauty .Sometimes may be infected and complicate. To get rid of it is rather difficult but a determined effort is made it can be controlled and can be avoided. The following methods can be tried.

  1. Wear cotton gloves.
  2. Put some adhesive tape on the nails.
  3. More important identify the stimulus which is forcing to nail bite. By this whenever the thought comes it can be avoided.
  4. Eating chewing gums or some mint candies may avoid the habit.

So try and save your nails!
