Essential aminoacids are 9 in number and they are not synthesised in our body, they are obtained through diet, hence they are called as essential aminoacids.

Non-Essential Aminoacids :
Non-essential aminoacids are 12 in number and they are synthesised in our body, hence called as non essential aminoacids.

- Glycine
- Hydroxyproline
- Proline
- Serine
- Tyrosine
Histidine is an essential aminoacid for only infants, it is a non essential aminoacid for adults.
