Vitamin K is a fat soluble vitamin, it ia also called as phylloquinone. Vitamin K plays an important role in the clotting of blood. Generally it is obtained from the food in required quantity. But for people who are suffering with stones in gall bladder, liver diseases, digestive problems and who are taking antibiotics for a long time, they require more amount of Vitamin K than usual.
This Vitamin is obtained in all green leafy vegetables (abundant amount in spinach), cabbage, cauliflower, bracoli, tomatoes, carrot, cucumber. It is present in fruits like grapes, apple, bananas, oats also.
