15th Lok Sabha Elections in Dadra & Nagar Haveli 2009 Verdict

The lone parliamentary seat from the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli was taken by the BJP from the Congress. It was a tight finish for the BJP as it polled 46.43% while the Congress polled at 45.87%! BJP’s Natu Patel won by a slender margin of 1,648 votes against Congress’ Mohan Delkar who was a six-time MP from this place.
