15th Lok Sabha Elections in Meghalaya 2009 Verdict

The UPA bagged the available two Lok Sabha Seats in the North Eastern State of Meghalaya. While the Congress won the Shillong Seat, its ally – the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) bagged the Tura Seat.

Here are the two elected Member of Parliaments (MPs) from Meghalaya :

  1. Shillong Constituency MP – Vincent H Pala (Indian National Congress)
  2. Tura Constituency MP – Agatha K. Sangma (Nationalist Congress Party)
