BJP’s List of Lok Sabha Candidates for Assam

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has finalised the list of seven candidates who will be contesting the Lok Sabha Elections from Assam. The BJP is fielding candidates for a total of 8 seats with the candidate for the Dhubri constintuency yet to be named. The party is having an alliance with the Asom Gana Parishad (ASP) which will be contesting for six LS seats out of the 14 seats in Assam. The ASP will be contesting in Barpeta, Tezpur, Kaliabor, Dibrugarh, Lakhimpur and Kokrajhar Constituencies.

Here is the list of BJP Candidates for Assam Lok Sabha Seats:

  1. Sudanshu Das for Karimganj Constituency which is reserved for scheduled tribes candidates.
  2. Kabindrapurkayasth for Silchar Constituency
  3. Kulendra Doulagapu for Autonomous District Constituency which is reserved for scheduled tribes candidates.
  4. Bijoya Chakraborty for Guwahati Constituency
  5. Ramen Deka for Mangaldoi Constituency
  6. Rajan Gohain for Nowgong Constituency
  7. Kamakhya Prasad Tasa for Jorhat Constituency
  8. Candidate yet to be announced for Dhubri Constituency
