Riteish on Genelia plan to marry in early 2012

Riteish Deshmukh admits for the first time of his relationship with Genelia D’ Souza after eight years and said that they are planning to marry in the early months of 2012.

Ritiesh Deshmukh and Genelia were introduced in the film ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’ in 2003 and they fell in love on the sets of their first film itself. Ritiesh after eight years, now confirms their wedding in the next year.

It is surely a hit pair as the relationship changes every year for many celebrities, it is great to see their lasting love even after eight years.

They are yet to fix the wedding date and they are working on its details, but it will be sure in early 2012.

Riteish says that he loves her very much as they grew up together and learnt about life, love, work and it was gradual and not by overnight. As they were friends the bond grew between them and it became stronger.

Katrina Kaif for an item song in ‘Agneepath’

Katrina Kaif has already become popular with an item song ‘Shiela ki jawani’ in her film ‘Tees mar khan’. She is now prepared to do another item song in the film ‘Agneepath’ which is produced by Karan Johar. Katrina is not the heroine of this film and is only the guest for the item song.

Previously reports came that Kareena Kapoor was approached to do the song, but she was not finalised. This may be because of the rumours of the romance between Hrithik and Kareena just before the Hrithik’s wedding with Sussanne Roshan in 2000 and they did not work together after that.

Also Hrithik and Katrina are the hit pair post Zindagi na milegi dobara. So the director Karan Malhotra and Karan Johar picked Katrina as the best choice for this song. In the original film, the item song ‘Ali baba’ was performed by Archana Puran Singh which was a rage back at that time. Now we have to watch the new makers also make it a chartbuster…..

Video Review of Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Rockstar’

Rockstar starring Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri is directed by Imtiaz Ali. The music is composed by the Oscar Awardee AR Rahman. The highlight of this musical film is the screen presence of  the late Shammi Kapoor in the role of Ustad Jameel Khan.

The film was released yesterday. The film was made with a budget of 60 crores.

The heroine of the film is the 32-year-old Nargis Fakhri who is an American Fashion model and actress. Rockstar is her first film in Bollywood in which she plays the role by the name ‘Heer’. Interestingly, Nargis Fakhri is a half Pakistani- half-Czech.

Telugu Movie Artistes Association (MAA) bans Genelia!

Genelia was banned by the Movie Artistes Association for not taking its membership. She was reminded to take the membership many times but she did not care to hear that and finally MAA took serious action on her. To obtain a life time membership she need to pay an amount of one lakh rupees to MAA.

Eventhough she has been in Tollywood for eight years, she didn’t bother to take MAA membership. So MAA issued notice to all the producers to not to support Genelia further. Presently Genelia is acting in ‘Naa Ishtam’ and she does not have any other offers. She is almost to end her career and she would not bother about this much as she is very busy in Bollywood at present.

Bharat Ratna Bhupen Hazarika Passes Away

The 86 year old Music legend Bhupen Hazarika died in a Mumbai hospital today due to failure of multiple organs. He was admitted in a hospital around 4 months back due to kidneys failure. He received many awards including the most honourable Bharat Ratna and Dadasaheb Phalke award in the year 1992. He played many roles like singer, composer, director and poet. He won many awards for the compositions in the film ‘Rudaali’. He was the man behind the inception of  colour films in Arunachal Pradesh.

Hot Bipasha in Bikini again

The bold and sexy Bipasha Basu is back again. She was in bikini in 2006 for the ‘Dhoom-2′ and now she is going to appear in two-piece bikini in her next coming film ‘Players’. The bikini scene was shot in freezing cold water in Wellington in New Zealand. She will be appearing in the sexy red bikini. Bipasha while talking about the scene says that she likes the beach, enjoys swimming and feels comfortable wearing the bikini. She also said that the scene was shot very well and the cinematographer Ravi K Chandran took care of that.

Silk Smitha’s family not happy about ‘The Dirty Picture’

The Dirty Picture movie landed into controversy. As the film is based on the life of Silk Smitha, her family members are not happy about the movie and called the film as ‘obscene’. The family members sent legal notice to the team of the movie and the makers are yet to respond. The brother of Silk Smitha, V Naga Vara Prasad accused the makers of ‘The Dirty Picture’, Ekta Kapoor and Milan Luthria for not taking the consent from her family in making the picture.
