Cadila Pharmaceuticals seeking Permission for Clinical Trials of Vaccine for Swine Flu Virus

With an aim to control the spread of the H1N1 virus of swine flu in India, Cadila Pharmaceuticals, India is seeking Government permission for starting clinical trials of Swine flu vaccine. ‘Made in India’ Fake Drugs: China admits involvement of its Pharmaceutical Companies

Nigeria’s drug regulatory authority National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has detained large consignment of fake anti malarial drugs labeled as “Made in India” but actually produced in China. Major Earth Quake struck the Islands of Andaman

A major Earth quake of a magnitude of 7.7 struck in the Indian Ocean off Andaman Islands by 1:55 am on Tuesday.(1955 GMT on Monday).A Tsunami alert was first given to India, Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand and Bangladesh but later canceled.
