Chandrababu Naidu rubbishes Congress claims on Lokesh Education

It looked silly when the YSR gang which includes Chief Whip Kiran Reddy had alleged in the Assembly that Chandrababu Naidu’s son Lokesh Naidu’s Education in the US was sponsored by the tainted Satyam Computers Chief Ramalinga Raju. It sounded silly because Andhra Pradesh has a craze of sending thousands of Engineering Students to study MS and other courses in the United States. It doesn’t matter if the family is lower middle class, higher middle class or the elite, students would anyway go from the state. Why would Lokesh whose father was the C.M for nine years, whose mother is the daughter of the late N.T.Rama Rao need assistance from an outsider to fund his education?

Chandrababu Naidu was quite emotional when he gave his reply saying that “can’t I afford to provide that Education for my one and only son?”. It was a Your Son Vs My Son kind of theme that went along in the assembly on Tuesday between the Chief Minister Y.S.Rajasekara Reddy and the Opposition Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu. There is a rumour though which is floating that Lokesh’s education had amounted to Rs. 25 crores and was funded by B Ramalinga Raju. YSR had gone onto say that Lokesh Naidu was the room mate of Ramalinga Raju’s son in the US.

Coming to Nara Lokesh Naidu, he has done MBA in Stanford University after getting a bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Last year Lokesh Naidu was married to Brahmani, the daughter of Film Hero Balakrishna and also his maternal uncle. N Lokesh is an executive director of his family firm Heritage Foods which has his mother Bhuvaneshwari as the Vice Chairperson and Managing Director. Chandrababu Naidu has claimed that Heritage Foods has been earning a profit of Rs. 20 crore per year.
