Congress Union Minister Mahavir Prasad in Murder Case
The Union Cabinet Minister of Small Scale Industries and Agro and Rural Industries Mahavir Prasad has been named as a co-accused in a murder case in the Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Mahavir Prasad has been booked for hatching a conspiracy for the murder of one Ram Pragat on January 28 this year. The 69-year-old Minister is accused of forcing the murder case to be booked as an accident case. Mahavir Prasad was also the former Governor of Haryana and also Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
