Former TDP No.2 Devender Goud’s Nava Telangana Party has been merged with Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party (PRP). Both the parties are barely months old babies. It remains to be seen if this alliance does make any impact or not in the polls.
Tulla Devender Goud is a former Home Minister of Andhra Pradesh under the tenure of Chandrababu Naidu. He quit the Telugu Desam Pary a few months back owing to differences about the Telangana issue. The Telugu Desam Party had only recently made a statement that it was in favour of a separate Telangana State. Devender Goud had floated Nava Telangana Party (NTP) on July 11th last year. Today Devender Goud has announced that his party is merging with Chiranjeevi’s Party which was formed in August last year.
