Gautam Gambhir and Rahul Dravid provided India the much needed fight back in the Napier Test to raise hopes of drawing the match. The match has now gone into the final day with Gautam Gambhir still present at the crease with good support from Sachin Tendulkar.
By close of play on Day 4, India has moved safely to 252 for 2. Gautam Gambhir has been batting out a huge number of balls and minutes and has got himself an unbeaten century, to be precise a score of 102. Sachin Tendulkar (58) on the other hand has batted with good freedom to bring down the deficit quickly.
The whole day saw India losing just the one wicket in the form of Rahul Dravid. It was infact only an umpiring blunder that got the wicket of Rahul Dravid (66) during the post lunch session. By stumps on Day 4, India is just shy of 62 runs with 9 wickets in hand.
