It was a ridiculously simple win for India Women against West Indies Women in the Super Six Match at the Bankstown Oval in Sydney. Batting first having won the toss, all the West Indies Women could post was 84 all out in 44.4 overs! Only Stafanie Taylor (29) and Pamela Lavine (20) could contribute anything significant. The innings was rocked by leg spinner Priyanka Roy who took 4 for 14 and Amita Sharma who took two top order wickets. The Indian chase was completed in 17.5 overs through the unbroken 3rd wicket partnership between opener and keeper Sulakshana Naik (39 not out) and Mithali Raj (34 not out).
