Inder Kumar Gujral (in short I.K.Gujral) was the 15th Prime Minister of India who had a brief stay of 11 months in the office. He is from the Janata Dal Party which was supported by the Congress-I from outside to form a United Front Government during 1997 to 1998. Formerly, IK Gujral was the Information and Broadcasting Minister in the Indira Gandhi Government during 1975 and later on was the External Affairs Minister in V. P. Singh’s Government in 1989 and then in the same post during the Deve Gowda’s Government in 1996.
