Ranbir as Rajiv Gandhi, Katrina as Sonia Gandhi

Film Director Prakash Jha is coming up with a political film by the name ‘Rajniti’. The movie will be blending the Hindu Epic – the Mahabharata with the National Politics of India. The movie has a huge starcast which includes Ajay Devgan playing the modern day Karna, Ranbir Kapoor as the late Rajiv Gandhi, Nana Patekar as Krishna, Vivek Oberoi and Arjun Rampal in other significant roles. The most standout role perhaps that of resembling Sonia Gandhi is going to be none other than Katrina Kaif!

Both Sonia Gandhi and Katrina Kaif have a few things in common and the most important of them is that they are not natural Hindi speakers and of course both are not from India originally! If Sonia and Katrina start speaking in Hindi, then it certainly does sound very odd to the ears bringing us memories of the Britishers speaking our national language.  One thing that Katrina has got to learn is to blink her eyes more than once in a second, she could do that by observing Sonia Gandhi closely! Lets hope that Prakash Jha comes up with something interesting through this ‘Rajniti’ of his.
