Sachin Tendulkar will soon have a permanent place in the Madame Tussauds Museum in London from April. The Master batsman’s wax statue is going to be the first amongst Indian sportspersons. There are already wax statues of few prominent Indian celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Salman Khan along with former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi, her son Rajiv Gandhi and also P.V.Narasimha Rao.
Sachin Tendulkar is the highest run scorer in both Tests and One Dayers and he will find a place along with fellow cricketers Brian Lara (of Trinidad and Tobago who represented West Indies) and Australia’s Shane Warne.
