Sarwan plunders 291 as Windies post 749!

The fourth and final Test at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados is heading towards a yawning draw. England cannot win the Test Series if this match is  drawn as the 5-Test Series has seen West Indies winning the 1st Test, 2nd Test being abandoned and the 3rd Test being drawn.

The fourth day’s play saw Ramnaresh Sarwan take his overnight score of 184 to 291 while his partner Denesh Ramdin helped himself to a career-best score of 166. Even lower order batsman Jerome Taylor joined the party scoring a half century. West Indies declared at 749 for 9 in reply to England’s 600 for 6 declared. England in their second innings had ended the 4th day at 6/0 and they need to see through a couple of sessions on the final day to ensure a draw.
