Satyam Staff Number Confirmed

The actual number of Satyam has been finally confirmed as 43,622 by the Provident Fund Organisation. This came into picture when the organisation filed a complaint against Satyam at Ramgopalpet Police Station in Hyderabad for non payment of PF for December 2008 which was approximately 7.5 Crores.This contradicts the figure of 40,000 which was argued by the public prosecutor last week at the court.Moreover the company has already deducted the PF for the month of December from the employees and which needs to be fulfilled before January 20 2009.

Surprisingly the Police didnt register a complaint instead directed them to the CID to register the case, reason being Satyam case is already being dealt by the fore.
