Satyam Staff Number Confirmed

The actual number of Satyam has been finally confirmed as 43,622 by the Provident Fund Organisation. This came into picture when the organisation filed a complaint against Satyam at Ramgopalpet Police Station in Hyderabad for non payment of PF for December 2008 which was approximately 7.5 Crores.This contradicts the figure of 40,000 which was argued by the public prosecutor last week at the court.Moreover the company has already deducted the PF for the month of December from the employees and which needs to be fulfilled before January 20 2009. Ramalinga Raju’s Bail Plea in Nampally Court Today

Mr Ramalinga Raju the tainted CEO of Satyam would appear for hearing in Nampally court here on Tuesday for his bail plea citing health reasons and also demanded a special status which would provide him some special privileges in the jail. Mr Raju along with his brother Mr Rama Raju was taken into custody on 9th Jan.

Satyam to Pay their Employee Salaries by Month End

Mr Deepak Parekh one of the present Board of Directors of Satyam has sent a personal email to the employees of Satyam stating that their salaries would be credited by the month end.
