State Tree - Hollong (the scientific name of the tree is Dipterocarpus macrocarpus)
State Sports - Sports in Assam includes Para Sailing, Mountaineering and Trekking and River Rafting.
State Dance - Bihu dance
State Flower - Foxtail Orchid (It is a species of orchid and its scientific name is Rhynchostylis gigantea) It is known as Kopou phul in Assamese.
