West Indies defeated England in the T20I Match at Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain by 6 wickets. Electing to field first, West Indies got England bowled out for 121 and the target was chased down by the hosts with Sarwan cracking a fifty.

The English innings was jolted with three runs outs while left arm spinner Sulieman Benn picked up three wickets. The top scorer of the English innings was the new Wicket Keeper Steven Davis who made 27 from 21 balls with 5 fours. Apart from him, the only English batsman to get a respectable score was skipper Andrew Strauss who made 22 at no.6. Left arm spinner Suliemann Benn uses his arm balls effectively to take 3 for 24. Medium pacer Darren Sammy had mean figures of 4-0-14-1.

In the chase, Ramnaresh Sarwan who opened the batting scored a well paced 59 from 46 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes. Lendl Simmons was the next highest scorer with an unbeaten 23 as Windies won with 12 balls to spare.
