Sources tell that Y.S.Jagan played a major key role for Metro project to Maytas which is owned and managed by Mr Ramalinga Raju’s sons. Maytas (Reverse Satyam) which was being started in 2006 didn’t have much experience in Construction field. Y.S.Jagan in personal interest got the tender for Maytas.
The company started in 2006 initially started a project in Nizampet in about 30 acres land which was a huge flop. With the initial investment they were able to drag until 2007 but later the maintenance especially the salary heads became a headache to Mr Ramalinga Raju, that was the reason being withdrawing his share from 8% to 3%.Apart from that the major head was transferring bags of money to Jagan’s account, finally he gave up and got surrendered to CBI.
